Training sessions to train academic women on party and political work.
The Jordanian Masarat Foundation, in collaboration with the King Abdullah II Fund for Development, organized a series of training sessions as part of a project aimed at enhancing the capacities of female academics in political and party work. The project included 15 training sessions focusing on various aspects of political engagement, including the laws governing parties and elections.
The training sessions targeted a group of female academics from different Jordanian universities to develop their political skills and increase their awareness of the legal frameworks that govern party and electoral work in Jordan. The sessions emphasized equipping participants with the knowledge needed to understand the Jordanian political landscape and the legal mechanisms through which they can engage in party activities and participate in elections.
This project is part of Masarat Foundation's efforts to support the empowerment of Jordanian women and promote their active participation in political life. It was implemented in coordination with the King Abdullah II Fund for Development, which aims to build the capacities of youth and women in various fields. The project seeks to prepare female academics to become influential members of political parties and key contributors to decision-making processes.
Participants expressed their appreciation for this initiative, which opened new horizons for interaction and political engagement. They emphasized the importance of continuing such programs, which contribute to building a society that is more aware of the values of democracy and active political participation.
