Al-Rifai appreciates the efforts of “ways” in supporting women

Under the patronage of His Excellency Mr. Samir Al-Rifai, Chairman of the Royal Committee for the Modernization of the Political System, the Middle East University MEU, in partnership with Jordan Masarat for Development and progress , held a publicity ceremony for the Middle East Pathways Center for Women Leaders.

Al-Rifai stressed the importance of having an incubator environment and mindset that deals with recommendations with an open mind, as it provided for providing an advanced model for the effective party environment among students in universities, through a gradual establishment in the basic stages of students, calling for the neutrality of institutions in dealing with the next party environment and deepening democracy in line with His Majesty's visions

For his part, Dr. Yacoub Nasser Al-Din explained that the establishment of the center comes in response to the visions of His Majesty the King and in order to achieve the recommendations of the Royal Committee and the requirements of the next phase of the second centenary.

He said: “The university is open to participatory work, especially with regard to training and empowering women according to scientific and methodological methods. Jordanian women have been creative in all different fields of work, and have found a place in the House of Representatives and Senate, decentralized councils, and municipalities.”

In turn, the former Minister of State for Information Affairs and founder of the Jordanian Masarat Foundation for Development and Development, Jumana Ghneimat, focused on the importance of the role of Jordanian women in leading and building the next stage of the life of the Jordanian state, stressing the need to arm them with the tools that qualify them to reach leadership positions in various fields.

In this context, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Middle East Masarat Center for Women Leaders and the Assistant Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, Dr. Haifa Abu Ghazaleh, presented her vision to move the center to several levels: Arab, regional and international, expressing her pride in the Middle East University's embrace of this pioneering work in supporting and empowering women.

The launch ceremony was attended by members of the Senate, the House of Representatives and a number of academic and political figures.
