Jordanian University at Yarmouk University on (Combating the Exploitation of Religion in Hate Speech and Violence)



The eighth dialogue session on "Hate Speech and Interfaith Dialogue" was held as part of the "Hate Speech and Interfaith Dialogue" project implemented by Masarat Jordan. The session featured a group of expert speakers, including Islamic and Christian clergy, as well as faculty members from the Colleges of Arts, Sharia, Islamic Studies, and Media. This initiative aligns with the royal vision to reject sectarian, denominational, and doctrinal violence in the region, focusing on fostering dialogue based on respect for differing opinions and acceptance of others, reflecting Jordan's belief that nations are built on love, peace, and brotherhood.

The eighth session was led by Professor Dr. Haifa Al-Fawaris, in the presence of Dr. Tariq Al-Nasser, Deputy Director of the Princess Basma Center for Jordanian Women's Studies, along with a group of students from the College of Sharia.

The session included several contributions and interactions from the audience.
